Sunday 6th September 2009

Mistress Adira required Her maid at 2.30pm this afternoon. i had a choice of wearing my black or pink uniform but had to wear 4" heels! That seemed rather a generous offer from Mistress Adira when She reminded me that She was expecting me to bring my lovely new pink suitcase. Oops, thank Goddess Mistress reminded me of that as i am sure that out of habit, i would have just packed my gear in my ugly black bag! In fact doing things out of habit is getting me into big trouble so far without any major consequences but i fear my reign of good times is about to end and end in a big way Mistress! i packed all my maid's gear (uniform and accessories) with plenty of room left to take both of my maid's uniforms for O/our trip to Melbourne in October.

i arrived at 2.30pm as instructed and after showing Mistress Adira my new suitcase with pink padlocks and name tag, i was sent to my changing room! Oh no, as i was getting changed i realized that being a creature of habit was getting me in trouble. Although i had bought all my maid's uniform and accessories, i did not bring my lipstick. Yes my lipstick was still in my black bag! Oh no what to do? Nothing but explain to Mistress that i had left my lipstick in my other bag. i was certain this latest mistake by me would earn me a punishment but to my amazement Mistress Adira decided that i would not wear any lipstick today and i would not be punished. Phew what a relief. Thank You Mistress for being so understanding and generous!

i was now standing before Mistress Adira wearing my new pink glass silk apron, pink lace cuffs and my pink maid's bag. i thought it was appropriate to see Her maid wearing her new accessories. Mistress Adira was most impressed, so much so that i will be wearing my pink maid's uniform and accessories to Retribution next weekend! Mistress was now ready to give my first lot of instructions: collect the laundry from outside and bring it inside, collect the wet white washing from the machine and hang it and then i was to fold the laundry that i had just bought inside! Mistress was very specific in the order of how i was to do my tasks. It was not for me to decide which order was easier or better, Mistress had given me my instructions and i would follow them!

i collected the laundry from outside, not too much which was good i thought, that was until i got back inside and went to unload the laundry where i discovered another big bundle of laundry already waiting there for me to fold as well! i smiled to myself just how tricky my Mistress can be sometimes!! i now turned my attention to gathering the wet white laundry from the washing machine and commenced to hang the laundry! i never seem to get the same garments to hang and today i had zebra patterned pajamas to hang. How do i hang pajamas correctly? i did not know i had never had to hang pajamas before so i tried to hang them the same way as t-shirts! Eventually i was happy with the way the clothes were hanging which looked to be in accordance with Mistress Adira's strict rules for hanging laundry so it was time to head back inside to fold laundry!

Towels, hand washers, tea towels, underwear a mixed collection of laundry awaited and by the time i had placed the laundry neatly in the cupboard, 45 minutes had elapsed! Mistress was now relaxing watching TV as i stood patiently awaiting my next instruction. Washing the dishes which did not take too long and then Mistress Adira had a special task for me to do: replace the cockroach baits, all 24 of them! Oh yes that is right, i recalled Mistress Adira saying last time that i would be replacing the cockroach baits on my next visit. Mistress Adira never forgets anything i reminded myself and set about doing my task!

i have only replaced the cockroach baits twice previously, once under the direction of Mistress Adira and the second time i attempted to complete my task on my own but failed miserably. i could only find 15 of the 24 baits last time but today was going to be different, i was determined to find all 24 baits myself! my attempt started well locating all the old baits in all 3 bedrooms, bathroom, passage, laundry and kitchen! i could not see an old bait in the toilet yet i was sure from when i have been down on my hands and knees cleaning the toilet, there was a bait in there but i must have been mistaken! By the time i had looked everywhere, i had one miserable bait left. Oh well, i had tried Mistress and i had been far more successful this time than my previous attempt Mistress but i could not find the last bait so i had to advise Mistress Adira that i had one bait left over!

Mistress Adira smiled and then rattled off all the more supposed difficult places that i may have missed and then Mistress said the toilet. i advised Mistress that i looked in there but there was not one to be replaced! Mistress Adira had this look of "Oh really maid marian." i took this to be a strong hint from Mistress Adira to recheck the toilet and to my shock, yes there it was, an old bait was indeed sitting on the floor in the toilet! i felt very embarrassed and silly at not having seen the old bait, especially when i did make what i thought was a thorough search of the toilet looking for it Mistress. i must be going blind Mistress is all i can say Mistress! The good news was that i now had no more cockroach baits left to replace, all 24 had been placed and Mistress Adira was giving my next task straight away. No rest for me between tasks - time for vacuuming!

i completed the vacuuming and Mistress Adira said She had one more task for me to do today and that was to clean the hand basin and mirror and to clean the plug as well! It took me a while to comprehend what Mistress had said - plug? That was something new Mistress but clean the plug i would Mistress! my mind was curious to look at just how dirty the plug was and to my shock it was very, very dirty. No wonder Mistress wanted Her plug cleaned! i scrubbed the plug as best i could and removed most of the dirt and stains and i stood before Mistress Adira for what i thought would be the last time prior to being dismissed!

Mistress Adira had other ideas - i was not being dismissed just yet, Mistress Adira wanted to conduct an inspection of the laundry i had hung earlier! Gulp, You must be joking Mistress, how could You be so cruel to conduct an inspection just before i thought i was about to be dismissed. my heart was beginning to beat faster, the fear of failing an inspection was frightening. Was i about to incur another punishment? Mistress Adira cast Her discerning eye immediately focused on the pajamas. The top was passed as being OK but the pants should not have been doubled over - elastic waist pants are hung single layer only. Before i had a chance to say anything Mistress was now inspecting the socks and underwear! Mistress was not happy that i had double pegged a pair of panties and i was reminded as to exactly how Mistress Adira requires Her laundry to be hung!

Mistress Adira then announced that i would not be punished this time but in future, mistakes in hanging laundry incorrectly will result in a punishment! "Mistress, yes Mistress, thank You Mistress" i responded in my softest possible feminine voice. i had managed to escape being punished twice today for failing to bring my lipstick and not hanging laundry correctly however i am certain of one thing Mistress, i may have escaped being punished today but i fear that i will not be so fortunate next time Mistress! my easy life as Your maid is about to become far more demanding Mistress as it appears that punishments will be mandatory for any mistakes from now on!
