Wednesday 25th February is a special day for me - it's the first time maid marian was required to do some cleaning duties after a day at work! i was interested to see how i would cope with spending a day at work and then having to do some "real" work! As it turned out i had nothing to fear - my enthusiasm and commitment to my tasks was as strong as ever. i do not think there is any time that would dampen my enthusiasm and desire to be a maid as i just get so much enjoyment from being Mistress Adira's maid! Mistress required me to wear my old uniform and long hair and it really is nice to be able to change my appearance. i am a very fortunate maid that i have so many looks to choose from now Mistress!

Mistress Adira was in no mood for chat as i stood before Her awaiting my instructions. Laundry first and then vacuuming maid marian. Simple, straightforward instructions now as i am supposed to know how to do my tasks. "Mistress, yes Mistress," i respond as i scurry off to collect the laundry basket to collect the laundry from outside! After collecting a basket of laundry from outside i had to go to the spare room where another bundle of laundry was waiting to be folded as well! Lots of towels, towels and towels to fold and soon clothes were all neatly folded and placed in the cupboard! No time to waste or stop and take a glance in the mirror and admire my looks as the vacuum cleaner awaited and within minutes i was vacuuming all the carpeted areas in the house! Mistress assisted by turning on the light in the lounge room so that i could see what i was doing. Never having done the vacuuming at night, i forgot about being able to turn on the light!!

i finished the vacuuming and reappeared before Mistress, standing as feminine as possible by having my hands folded in front of me as Mistress announced i could now do the dishes! There were not many dishes to do this evening, unlike last time when there were hundred's. Just as i was about to finish, (Mistress must have a secret camera observing me), when Mistress came bouncing into the kitchen with that mischievous grin of Hers and announced that i could clean the sinks after i had finished the dishes! Oh Mistress does give the impression She enjoys having a maid!! As i was about to set about cleaning the sink, i looked at the sink and it did not look too bad with a few stains here and there. This should not take too long! Obviously i have a lot to learn as a maid as 30 minutes later and with aching fingers from scrubbing that damn sink it was finally clean!!! It was a much bigger task than i thought Mistress and Mistress decided to inspect my efforts to make sure the sink was spotless!

No matter how well i think i have done my task, it is a very nerve wracking few seconds which seems like hours as Mistress casts Her ever observant eye over my efforts and it is only when i hear the words "good effort maid marian" that i start to breath again!! i had been doing cleaning duties for just under 2 hours when Mistress announced that She had no more tasks for me to do this evening and my frist evenings work as a maid was now over! i had a fantastic time as Your maid as always Mistress and i look forward to being able to serve You as Your maid any time of the day or evening now Mistress!!
