i was a very shocked but happy maid when Mistress Adira advised that She required my services this afternoon! What plans did Mistress have? Her place was looking resplendent after all the cleaning from last weekend so today was going to be something different!
Mistress announced that i was going to assist Her in the kitchen and then do the dishes and cleaning the kitchen! That sounds wonderful Mistress i thought to myself - a nice relaxing evening ahead for me! There was one more unusual occurrence this evening Mistress' sister was also going to be present so maid marian would be performing her duties before guests of Mistress Adira! Still i was not fazed by that in fact it added to my level of anticipation and excitement as i just enjoy being maid marian no matter where or i am or who else is present!
After changing into my uniform i reported to my Mistress and Her sister got to see maid marian in real life! Mistress' sister had not seen me in my new wig and it was not long before compliments were flowing freely. i was now totally at ease, after all what girl does not like to receive compliments about her appearance! Enough of the small talk for Mistress, i had some work to do: collect and fold the laundry! i set about my task with enthusiasm and energy as Mistress and Her sister chatted and enjoyed Themselves. After completing the laundry i had some dishes to do before Mistress could get into the kitchen to prepare dinner!
Mistress was having sausages with carrots and asparagus for dinner this evening! After a short discussion Mistress announced that there would be enough for me and that i would be having some dinner as well, although i would not be eating my Dinner at the dining table like everyone else, i would be eating my dinner in the kitchen where a maid should be! "Yes Mistress" i replied with glee. How humiliating to be forced to eat my dinner in the kitchen whilst everyone else gets to eat at the dining room table, like normal people do. Tut then again i am not normal, i am a maid and Mistress was correct, the kitchen is where a maid should eat!
Mistress allowed me to prepare the carrots and then as She cooked the sausages, carrots and asparagus i set the dining room table for three spaces. The third table setting was not for me, my eating place was in the kitchen! Mistress served the meals and i took the three meals and placed them on the table! Mistress left the kitchen and announced that i could also eat my meal now as well! i walked over to the kitchen bench and stood, facing the corner of the kitchen wall (just like a naughty schoolgirl), and i ate my dinner in full view of Mistress Adira whilst Mistress and the others enjoyed their meal at the dining room table! i was allowed an additional sausage and then it was my turn to work - i now had the privilege of cleaning up for Mistress after dinner!
Cooking sausages caused quite a mess on the stove that i had just cleaned on Sunday and so i was back cleaning the stove again only 4 days later. How cruel Mistress! It was nearly 7.30pm by the time i had finished cleaning the kitchen and some 3 hours had elapsed. Time just seems to fly as a maid or is it that time flies when i am busy? There is one thing i know Mistress and that is that i am always busy as Your maid Mistress!
