Saturday 17th January 2009

Today was a special day for me as i was allowed to wear my new wig for the first time. i feel so different wearing my new wig and it is a very exciting time for me! i also tried my new 5" heels on for my Mistress but it was 3" heels for me today as Mistress had some cleaning that needed to be done and as it turned out it was a lot of cleaning! Mistress Adira offered me a cup of coffee before i began my cleaning tasks today and the first task was dusting! Mistress wanted dusting to be done: all the window sills, chests of drawers, piano, bookcases, tables, chairs, you name it and i had to dust it! Surprisingly i found dusting to be quite enjoyable. i am becoming a worry as i seem to find any cleaning task to be enjoyable but it is especially when i am cleaning for my Mistress!! There was plenty of dust that had accumulated and i went through a number of damp cloths but after about 45 minutes i only had one more bookcase to clean! The bookcase with all of Mistress Adira's statue and images of Her cats! How many statues are there? Probably 50 or more spread over 3 shelves and after about another 30 minutes i was finally done with dusting! It was now just after 1.00pm and i thought that perhaps my days cleaning may have finished when Mistress asked if Her maid would like a sandwich for lunch! i responded with "No thank You Mistress, it will be OK. i can wait till i get home" as i did not want to put my Mistress to any extra effort but Mistress was determined to offer me lunch as i needed fuel to do more cleaning!! More cleaning Mistress? That was a completely different scenario Mistress, of course Your maid would like some lunch now that she was staying longer! It was cheese, tomato and rocket salad sandwich for me and as soon as i had finished lunch it was time to do the dishes!

After cleaning the dishes Mistress announced that She would be leaving soon as she had another slave to see but whilst She was gone i was given my instructions. Yes, i was going to remain cleaning whilst my Mistress was away. What a compliment for me that Mistress trusted me to continue working whilst She was not present! my list of chores was very long and contained a number of new tasks for me: cleaning two rubbish bins, hanging out the wet washing, cleaning the basin and vacuuming! i had no idea how long Mistress would be gone but it did not matter to me as i had a number of chores to do and it was time to work! The two rubbish bins were very difficult to clean and they are most awkward but somehow with some perseverance, i managed to get them both spotless!

i had never been given the task of hanging the laundry till today. Normally i get to collect and fold the laundry so i now have managed to do the whole laundry process and i am becoming a very well skilled and trained maid Mistress! The hand basin and vacuuming were completed and a quick check of tasks that i had to do revealed that i had completed all of my tasks and in accordance with Mistress' instructions, i was now to get changed and leave if Mistress had not returned by the time i had left!

i returned to my change room and sat on the bed when all of a sudden it hit me, just how long i had been doing my cleaning duties today? It was 4 hours and what a busy girl i had been. No wonder i was feeling exhausted as i had basically been on my feet for 4 hours! Oh how great it is that i am able to spend so much time as a maid. It really is a most enjoyable and fun way to spend a day. In fact i could not think of a better way to spend a Saturday (or Sunday or any day) Mistress.
