i was a very busy maid this afternoon doing cleaning duties for my Goddess to make sure that Her house was spick and span for Her dinner guests this evening! Mistress Adira wanted a good job done this afternoon and i managed to pass Mistress' rigorous inspections so i am a very happy maid this evening! i am getting quite efficient at getting dressed in my maid's uniform and i am now fully dressed in well under 10 minutes - a pretty good effort for a girl i think!
This afternoon my first task was to collect and fold the laundry. i never cease to stop learning as Mistress' maid and today i was instructed on how to hang shirts and tops - the hangers must all hang the in the same direction and have the hook pointing the same way! It took me a little while to get the hang of it but soon i had it all under control and i left Mistress' clothes all hanging and facing in the same direction. Just another task i will have to remember in future!
After completing the laundry Mistress Adira required Her microwave cleaned and i was introduced to a new spray cleaning product - a vanilla based cleaning spray. It smelt wonderful. Is there a better smell than vanilla? i don't think so! This should have made the task quite pleasant but cleaning fridges and microwaves are very difficult because i have to get into awkward positions to clean ALL of the interior surfaces - which is not easy in my posture collar. Still a little discomfort when doing a cleaning task only adds to my pleasure so it was a very nice task for a maid to do. i am very fortunate that my Mistress gives me such nice tasks!
Mistress had been busy doing dinner preparations for Her guests this evening and that meant one thing - dishes, dishes and more dishes. i do not think Mistress could have used any more dishes if She tried! Still that does not matter as it was on with the rubber gloves and time to get down to work! By the time i had completed ALL the dishes i had been there for nearly two hours and Mistress decided that i could have some lunch which was a sausage roll and cup of coffee for me. Soon i was sitting at the table, relaxing and eating my lunch!
Whilst lunch was very nice, the great bonus for me was that i could not only rest my feet from the 4" heels i was wearing this afternoon but i was also able to slip them free as there was no shoe locks on today and this was great for my poor feet! i tried to make my lunch last as long as possible only to rest my feet as much as i could but Mistress was aware of my stalling tactics and soon it was back to work - sore feet or not.
After lunch it was out with the vacuum cleaner and soon it was nearly time to head home. Before my cleaning duties were completed i had to do one more thing. Yes, that is right - do the lunch dishes!! i thought i had done enough dishes to last a month Mistress, but no apparently maids enjoy doing dishes and so i was back wearing my rubber gloves doing the few dishes that had accumulated from lunch. There is never a free lunch for a maid Mistress!
It i amazing just how quickly time flies when i am doing cleaning duties for my Mistress as three hours had now elapsed and i was about to get changed and leave. However there was one more surprise for me - Mistress had baked a cake for Her dinner guests this evening and i was allowed a piece of cake before i left. What a lucky maid i am in more ways than one!
