Today has been a special day for me as i was allowed to take some time off work by Mistress Adira to do some important cleaning for my Goddess. i arrived at Mistress' place at 3.00pm and after doing some weeding it was time to get changed and get down to what i love - cleaning! my main task today was the shower. Every square inch of the shower, floor and walls had to be scrubbed, the shower screen, the basin and the mirror. Is there anything more difficult than scrubbing the grout in between tiles? i don't think so - but it does not matter to me - it just has to be done. During my cleaning Mistress advised that She had to leave for a short while and asked "did i wish to accompany Her or would i prefer to stay cleaning!" The answer was very easy "maid marian would remain cleaning Mistress". Ater all that is what she was there to do! Mistress left and returned and i was still cleaning the bathroom. It was obvious very early on that it was in need of a good scrub and it was going to take a big effort.

However like all cleaning tasks, it is just a matter of being organized and working in a methodical way around the room and in what seemed like no time at all, i was happy with the shining room and it was time to see my Goddess and await Her verdict! A few nervous seconds and a smile from my Mistress is all i needed to know that She is happy with my effort and it was time to do my next task! No rest for a maid when serving Mistress Adira, the tasks follow quickly. It is obvious by Her manner and actions just how much my Mistress enjoys having a maid to do Her cleaning. Wouldn't all Superior Female's like a maid! Time to do the cleaning of the glass door, the linen cupboard door as Mistress wants Her house spotless. She announces it is time to fold some laundry. i am becoming quite accomplished at folding laundry now!

i have been there 2 hours so far and Mistress announces that She is about to cook dinner and says that She will feed her maid as well! Feed me? Mistress makes it sound like i am one of Her pet cats or piece of property. i smile as i realize that is what i am - i am the property of Mistress Adira. Before dinner is served i am given one more task - clean all the kitchen cupboards. i have been scrubbing so much my rubber gloves have worn out - always a good sign for a maid that she has been busy!

Eventually i have finished my kitchen cupboard cleaning. Mistress is pleased as now She can serve dinner. i will not do my Goddess justice about what was in the meal but what i can recall it was garlic, prawns, rice and vegetables. It was very nice and a most generous meal for a maid. As soon as i have finished my meal Mistress says with glee "right back to work girl, you have been sitting too long!" Sitting too long Mistress? i have just had a beautiful dinner and i want to sit back and relax, but that is not an option for a maid so i quickly resume my present position and it is time to do vacuuming. The whole house needs vacuuming maid marian but before i start my task i am given a lesson as to how to use the vacuum cleaner properly as Mistress says i have not been using it correctly! a maid cannot be perfect all time so i listen intently as i never know what punishment may be invoked should i not pay sufficient attention to Her training.

After i complete my lesson in how to use the vacuum cleaner correctly i start cleaning from the back of the house and work my way forwards! Eventually i reach the living room where i have to pause whilst the cats are transferred to the bedrooms and then it is on with the job. i complete the vacuuming and is it time to go i begin to wonder? i have been cleaning for 3 and half hours so far. i never know when i am doing my last task as Mistress Adira just keeps giving new tasks when i finish the last task. Mistress obviously thought i had not spent enough time on my hands and knees - no seriously, the kitchen floor needed a scrub and i gingerly lower myself to the floor and scrubbed the floor with plenty of enthusiasm and vigor. The floor is sparkling clean now and a quick inspection by my Goddess. "What's that maid marian!" exclaims Mistress as i look at a piece of dirt on the floor! i am in a mild state of panic. How embarrassing for a maid so i try to fix the mistake as quickly as possible and i pick it up with my bare hand - no slacking off allowed by my Goddess. Mistress looks around Her house. my legs are beginning to ache as it has been more than 4 hours now bending, stretching and kneeling. Mistress says "that looks about it maid marian, a job well done girl".

i walk to my changing room, pleased with my effort although slightly disappointed that my day as Mistress Adira's maid has finished but then i smile to myself knowing that it will not be too long before i will be back doing it all again!
