i am very happy again today as i have just spent the afternoon cleaning for Mistress Adira. i am amazed just how happy i am cleaning - it is a very strange feeling that i could be so excited about doing domestic chores but that is my life. After spending most of yesterday in may maid's uniform and cleaning slave tate's unit, today i was required for cleaning duties at my Goddess' house at midday. Arriving at midday i changed into my full uniform and i felt very comfortable - i am really happy with my ability to wear my heels now. I feel and look totally comfortable, walk gracefully and can wear my 3" heels at least for most of the day. It really has been a marked improvement over the last 10 months.
Mistress Adira provided me with some lunch before it was time to go to work. Time to fold the laundry and to remove the laundry from the line outside! It no longer seems a big deal to be outside in full view of the rest of the world in my maid's uniform so it was just remove the clothes as quickly as i can and then back inside to fold the clothing in accordance with my Goddess' instructions. Towels have to be folded a certain way and i remember which is a bonus - no punishment so far! A quick play with the cats in between folding the laundry and then it is on to my next task - there is no time to rest when you are a maid!
my second task seemed a simple task - clean the microwave. Although i should be learning by now that anything that sounds simple, is not usually, and leaning a microwave is no exception. i was twisted inside out and upside down trying to see inside the microwave to make sure that i did not miss a spot. Luckily Mistress Adira allowed me to use Gumption again (a maid's best friend) and the stains and grime came off easily. Finally i was satisfied with my effort but then again it does not matter how good a job i think i have done, the only verdict that is important is that of my Goddess. i pass the inspection and i am happy to receive the approval of my Goddess.
It would not be a cleaning session for a maid without having to do some dish washing and today was no exception. As a maid there is never a sense of boredom as each task is a separate and exciting exercise and there is no better feeling than seeing a sparkling clean lot of dishes after i have finished. The main reason Mistress required me today was to assist in tidying the spare bedroom and when i first saw the room, it was no wonder Mistress wanted to clean and tidy the room! There was little vacant space anywhere! After Mistress Adira worked out a plan,it was time to remove all the clothing from this room and place into the other bedroom and i have never seen so many spare coat hangers as Mistress had - at least 50 i would think!
Mistress continued to work away at Her plan of putting everything in it's correct place and soon W/we were making very good progress although in essence W/we just transferred the problem from one room to another! Eventually the room was empty with nothing left on the floors and it was time for maid marian to spot clean the carpet and then vacuum. Between washing dishes and vacuuming, a maid could be kept busy for a very long time. By the time i finished vacuuming, Mistress Adira had cleaned and tidied the other room and Her house was now in the state of cleanliness that is fit for a Goddess and it was time for me to leave!
maid marian has been a very busy girl this weekend cleaning and has enjoyed every minute of her tasks. Is there anything better than being a busy maid? i don't think so!
