my life as a maid continues to grow. It is almost like i spend every weekend as a cleaning maid - how lucky would that be! Today Mistress Adira gave me some specific instructions for cleaning slave tate's unit - vacuuming, cleaning kitchen benches, sink and floors and dusting! What a busy but enjoyable day ahead for me! It has been a few weeks (months) since i have given the kitchen a good clean so it was going to be a big job! i was changed into my uniform by 11.30am and i was only required to wear 3" heels today! Part of being a good maid is to plan your day's cleaning and my plan was to do the vacuuming first, then turn my attention to the kitchen. It does not matter how often i do the vacuuming, there always seems to be a lot of dirt, dust, grime and fluff to pick up and after about 45 minutes, i have finished the vacuuming and it is time to throw out all that yucky dirt and dust!

Cleaning the kitchen was going to be a difficult task but my task was made that little bit easier as slave tate had bought some special cleaning material - Gumption - it is the best general cleaner around! i started with the benches and in no time at all they were spotless. Thank Goddess for Gumption i was thinking to myself. The next target area was the sink. Nothing harder than trying to get a kitchen sink sparkling clean but eventually it was glistening and i was feeling very happy as my unit was looking much cleaner already!

It was now getting towards afternoon tea time so before i turned my attention to tackling the kitchen floors, it was time for a cup coffee and a Polly Waffle. maid marian loves Her Polly Waffles. i love peeling off the chocolate first, then the wafer and then it is time to just suck on marshmallow. Just divine - especially washing it down with piping hot coffee! i was feeling refreshed and now it was time to get down on all fours and scrub the kitchen floors! Whilst most people do not enjoy scrubbing floors, maid marian is more than happy to be down on hands and knees scrubbing, and she strives to do a good job! The floor is taking shape nicely and maid marian enjoys looking at her image in the sparkling clean floor. It takes nearly an hour to clean the floors properly and to the standard that maid marian must achieve for Her Goddess. Eventually i am able to get up off my hands and knees!

Whilst Mistress Adira did not set me this task, i decide to do some ironing, 5 shirts for slave tate. It is a nice break from scrubbing and before i commence my final task of dusting. Dusting is such a thankless job but one that has to be done but i much prefer to do dishes or floor scrubbing! Still a maid has to do jobs that it does not necessarily enjoy and with my damp cloth i concentrate on removing the dust in the lounge and dining areas!

Before i realize, it is after 5.00pm. How time flies when you are a busy maid and it was time for dinner. Another eventful and enjoyable day as Mistress Adira's maid!
